Kahoot!

This is a free online site that is great for assessment and review. Create fun, interactive multiple choice questions to get your students pumped! Or search for a Kahoot! that is already created. Students will need phones, tablets, or a laptop to participate. 

 

Desmos

Desmos is a great tool for any math or science classroom. It is a free, online graphing calculator and it's FREE! Graph anything your heart desires. There are even options for pre-created Desmos activities that lead students through a series of steps to explore graphing. One has students manipulate the slope and y-intercept and see what happens to the line. All with the capability of teacher monitoring. 

 

Prezi

Use Prezi to create or have students create exciting presentations! Prezi goes way beyond your average slide show to showcase what you have learned from a research project or to go over the schedule of a new unit! Did I mention it is free?

 

Kahn Academy 

This is a personal favorite! This site is spectacular for all grade levels of mathematics. Mr. Kahn has instructional videos for anything and everything you may be learning in a math classroom. Whether you missed a day of class or you just need more explanation these free videos are for you!

 

Planbook

Planbook is a site for online lesson planning and grading. Upload your lesson plans for the week and give students and parents the information they need to access it at any time! Keep yourself organized and keep everyone else informed. 

 

Twitter

Twitter is not just a social media platform used for scrolling mindlessly through memes. Create a professional profile that is perfect for building your professional presence online. Engage in Twitter chats with other professionals to share your insights as well as learn something new.
